Fundamentals of thermodynamics for engineers will be covered in this course. Laws of thermodynamics, evaluation of material properties, open and closed systems and more will be discussed. The students need to be familiar with basic math, including integrations and differentiation. Some computer programming knowledge might be needed for this class.

Introduction to Heat Transfer - ME 411
This undergraduate course provides an introductory treatment of steady and transient conduction, natural and forced convection and radiation heat transfer. Students may be required to complete at least one design project, and laboratory work may be required. Laws of thermodynamics, evaluation of material properties, open and closed systems and more will be discussed. The students need to be familiar with basic math, including integrations and differentiation. Some computer programming knowledge might be needed for this class.
