Friends of India Association
We are the Friends of India Association (FIA) at Clarkson University, Potsdam, New York. The Indian community here is small but close-knit, and we try our best to help the new students with settling down here. FIA arranges get-togethers/potlucks, and also celebrates festivals like Diwali in a (relatively) big way. Indian families from the neighboring towns of Canton, Massena, Ogdensburg and Malone are invited for such occasions as well, and everyone has a nice time at the gatherings. New / prospective students often have questions about the university and financial aid options. We have compiled a short list of such issues and we request students to first browse through them.
