Studio Rivbea, NYC 1973
(Note: These video clips do not contain audio.)

This film was produced by Karma Stanley and Juma Sultan for the New York Musicians Organization.

This is the second of two films that we have been able to sync with the recorded audio. (However, please note that the audio is not yet ready to be included in this website.)

Charles played with many major players of the day. Most notably was his part in the Ornette Coleman Trio with bassist David Izenzon. Moffett also played with Eric Dolphy, Prince Lasha, Sonny Simmons, Frank Lowe, Archie Shepp, and Charles Tyler. He died in 1997.

We do not know the players in this ensemble other than drummer/flugel horn, Charles Moffett.

NOTE: One visitor to the site has identified the bassist as Stafford James, an artist whose work has spanned forty years, who has played with numerous fellow greats, such as Albert Ayler, Dexter Gordon, Pharoah Sanders, and Rashied Ali.

Another visitor has identified the saxophonist as Keshavan Maslak -- known as Kenny Millions -- who played and recorded with Charles Moffett, Sunny Murray, and Paul Bley.
