Charged Fiber and Bumpy Particle Transport, Deposition & Removal

The main objective of this project is to provide a fundamental understanding of transport, dispersion, deposition and removal of fibers and irregular shape particles under various conditions. In particular, the effect of charges carried by the particle and the presence of an external electric field are included. The other main objective is to develop a computational model for predicting fiber transport and deposition in complex passages of practical industrial interest.
