Powder Dispersion

This project is concerned with providing a fundamental understanding of powder dispersion mechanisms. The specific objective is to provide the needed understanding of the mechanisms that control the dispersion of particle mixtures in shear and turbulent flow fields. The other goal is develop an understanding of small particle detachment from large carrier particles and/or breakup of particle agglomerates due to impact.
